Political fixer Viswanathan (Mohanlal) and minister Raghavan (Mukesh) are both close personal friends and bitter political rivals. So when Raghavan gets a call for help from a friend in the USA, he jumps at the chance to get rid of his rival. The task is to turn around the political fortunes of a candidate for governor, whose poll ratings have hit an all-time low. Viswanathan takes along his two closest aides (Baburaj, Aju Varghese) to help with this mission. Together, they proceed to use all the tricks and gimmicks of Indian politics to get their man elected – with hilarious consequences! Making his Malayalam debut, Tamil writer/director Arun Vaidyanathan plays to hugely popular Mohanlal’s great strengths with this accomplished blend of slapstick and satire. It’s also the first Malayalam film to be shot in Hollywood’s legendary Universal Studios.
